Volunteer Opportunities

Be the change you wish to see in Washington State.

These areas we need help with, if you see a way  you’d like to participate, let Arzu know.

District Advocacy Leaders
  1. Inform families: send out out updates to local special needs PTSA’s, physicians and therapy providers in your area once a month
  2. Inform your local legislators: call and e-mail your local district’s senators and representatives and educate them on complex needs of individuals with autism and ask them to get involved with legislative efforts aimed at improving access to evidence based education, healthcare and community inclusion.
  3. Grow our grassroots among friends, family, therapists and others who are supportive of our cause.
  4. Enlist other volunteers – we’re all parent volunteers and no task is too small.

Help us to be the voice of the Autism Community in Olympia and help build a more prepared and supportive state for our loved ones with Autism.

Very truly yours,

Arzu Forough – mom , child and family advocate
